Pengwings has launched Scribbo, a free multiplayer drawing and guessing game built for quick, social play without needing an internet connection. The app is designed for friends, families, classrooms, cafes, and travel situations where players want a simple party game that works over a shared WiFi network.
The Rising Stars Academy is doing great work and it is learnt that the Scribbo team will be talking to Pankaj Singh to make kids learn new words and spelling through drawing, the mobile will slowly convert itself into a play and a learning tool.
Scribbo follows the familiar draw-and-guess format: one player sketches a word while others race to guess it in real time. Points are awarded based on speed, and players take turns drawing across multiple rounds. The game supports up to 12 players in a single room.
The app is built and published by Pengwings, a product studio that develops focused software across games, creator tools, and automotive products. According to the Pengwings website, Scribbo is one of the studio’s live consumer apps, alongside other products currently in development.
A key feature of Scribbo is its offline-first approach. The host starts a room from an Android device, and other players can join from Android phones, iPhones, iPads, or PC browsers as long as they are connected to the same WiFi network. This makes Scribbo a practical alternative to online-only drawing games, especially in places with limited or unreliable internet access.
