As the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Web Varta News Agency, he has played a pivotal role in building the organization into one of India’s trusted digital news platforms.With years of experience in print and digital media, Saeed Ahmed recognized early the importance of online journalism in shaping public opinion and strengthening democracy. His vision was to create a transparent and reliable news agency that gives voice to common citizens, highlights social issues, and represents underreported communities. This vision led to the establishment of Web Varta in 2009.Under his leadership, Web Varta has expanded into a nationwide network, delivering accurate, timely, and unbiased news across multiple categories including politics, business, law, sports, entertainment, and social affairs. He strongly believes in responsible reporting, factual accuracy, and journalistic integrity as the foundation of credible media.Beyond journalism, Saeed Ahmed actively contributes to the media community. He serves as the General Secretary of the Independent Newspaper Association at the Democratic Press Club and is a Member of The Foreign Correspondents' Club of South Asia. He is also associated with cultural and social organizations such as the India Islamic Culture Centre and Ek Ehsaas, working toward community development, press freedom, and social harmony.Born in Rajpur, Kanpur Dehat (Uttar Pradesh) and currently based in Delhi, Saeed Ahmed continues to guide Web Varta with dedication and purpose. His mission is to empower society through truth, transparency, and responsible journalism, ensuring that media remains a pillar of democracy and public trust.
